MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr Matthew Bailey, DC
I, Dr. Bailey, was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington. I attended Puyallup high school where I excelled at school and sports (Football, Basketball, Etc ). Later I performed my undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University and received my Bachelor of Science with a major in biology and a minor in psychology. While attending Seattle Pacific I meet my wife, Dr Suzanne Bailey MD, who was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. During my undergraduate studies I found a great affinity for Chiropractic and decided to attend Western States Chiropractic College. I graduated from Western States the fall of 2007 and already had a job with a well-known clinic in Portland, Beeson Chiropractic center. In the spring of 2009, my lovely wife and I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in order for her to finish her residency program in Pediatrics. During this time I worked for 2 other clinics and gained lots of experience as well as grew 2 different practices to the largest capacity that either clinic had ever seen
My wife and I were ecstatic in 2013 to announce the addition of Andrew Bailey to our family and our moving back to Salem, Oregon where my wife accepted a job with Salem Pediatric Clinic. We than have been blessed two more times with children Brynn 2015 and Jacob 2017.
During my training and schooling I have specialized in Pettibon Rehabilitation and biomechanics which allows me to treat a wide variety of conditions or injuries such as sports injuries, family care, disc herniation’s, headaches, whiplash, etc. I have meet many medical doctors of different specialties which has given me knowledge and experience working with the medical community. I have a great passion for medicine as well as people and am sensitive to the complexities that each can bring to a clinic setting. I have worked hard to educate myself in the latest research to better treat my patients and to give the best care possible.
When I am not treating patients I enjoy snowboarding, sports especially football and working out, which you can find me most afternoons at Resilient Human Performance, training with Aaron Hague. I look forward to meeting this great Salem Community and hope to get to know more of you, not just as patients, but as friends!
